I prop it up on a book so the underside fan is open and then run a tabletop fan at the comp full speed. Turns into an icecube but this isn’t really a gaming machine anyways.

Make sure you use it on a flat surface, such as a desk or a table. Using it on, say, a bed, could make it run hotter as the cloth sheets could block the vents.

You can also aim an electric fan at your laptop, it’ll cool it down for sure.

Depending on your laptop’s processor, you can try running a CPU cooling program like CPUidle, which halts the processor when it’s idle to reduce its temperature.

Check your CPU throttling settings as well, they can help your notebook cool down as well.
