I have a Dell Studio 1555 which is about 365mm wide and the in-built fan in the top left corner (if that makes a difference). I want to buy a chill pad because I have noticed that my laptop get really hot after a while, and since I live in Australia, it really gets super hot during 40 degree weather.
I found a chill pad for US $16 with LED lights, 3 fans at 60mm each. The fan speed it 2800rps and they claim it is low noise. It pulls hot air away from the laptop (which I think is better than blowing cold air in). My main question is, will it fit my laptop since it is wider than average laptops? Do you think that this is the chill pad I should get or, there is another one which has 1 huge fan (180mm) also spinning at 2800rps.
So which one would you get? 3 fans 60mm each or 1 fan at 180mm?
Thanks

try blowing out the dust from your laptop with a can of compressed air. your laptop should be able to cool itself, even in the heat.
