I bought a cheap one last spring…paid about $10 with two small fans. Plugs into USB port and seems very cheaply made, though used it almost every day last summer outside in 80-100 degree weather and will use it again this year. Well worth the ten bucks.

I have a Gateway laptop and the fan always turns on when needed.

I do and it has given good service to date and has made a marked improvement in cooling the laptop .

My buddy has one. He has to hook it up before turning on the laptop, or the lappy won’t stay cool. If it’s on before starting the laptop, he said that it works wonders. I think he paid $20 for it.
